Membership

Membership in C-FB RSPA consists of retirees of C-FB ISD: teachers, administrators, secretaries, and all support personnel. We also welcome retirees from other school districts who live in our area. Family and friends are encouraged to join (but they will have no voting rights and cannot hold office.)

Even if you never come to any of our meetings or outside events, the legislature needs to know that you support the only retirement “voice” you have. 

To join, please fill out this Membership Form and return it to the address indicated.

Dues are $45 per year. Make your check payable to C-FB RSPA. $35 goes to TRTA for state dues and $10 goes to our local unit to help with expenses of the organization, such as luncheon supplies, speakers, door prizes, convention expenses, etc. The membership year begins July 1 (membership drive begins March 1). If you pay your $35 state dues directly to TRTA or have your state dues come out of your monthly annuity check, you only need to pay to us your local dues of $10.

As a member of Carrollton-Farmers Branch Retired School Personnel Association you have a right to opt-out of having photographs, videos or other digital or social media used for post or publications including web-based publications. If you decide to opt out, please fill out the Opt Out Form. If a TRTA member wishes not to be photographed, recorded, or appear in TRTA promotional items, the member should avoid any cameras in the area.
